The Atlanta Flute Club's Masterclass Competition is for college flutists who are enrolled full-time as a student at a university at the time of application. Applicants must be a member of the The Atlanta Flute Club and be current in their dues obligations. 
Applicants, your membership fee will be automatically added to your application fee at checkout.​ The preliminary recording should be AUDIO ONLY, ONE-TAKE. Please note NO EDITING WHATSOEVER IS PERMITTED.

 

A committee will judge the preliminary audition, and three finalists will be chosen to perform in a masterclass for AFC Flute Fair guest artist Todd Skitch on March 14th, 2026 at the Flute Fair.

Preliminary Round Repertoire Requirements:

1. Exposition of Mozart Concerto in G Major, movement 1

2. Brahms - Symphony No. 4: mm. 89-105 (Principal Flute)

3. Prokofiev - Peter and the Wolf: rehearsal 2-4 (Principal Flute)

The deadline for recorded audition submission is 11:59 pm on February 1st, 2026.

A $50 application fee is due upon submission. ​
