The AFC Adult Amateur Competition is open to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and South Carolina residents who engage in flute playing on an unpaid basis, who are not currently enrolled as a student at a university, and are over the age of 30 as of March 15, 2025.

Applicants must be a member of the the Atlanta Flute Club and be current in their dues obligations. 

 

This competition is by recorded round only.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Competition Repertoire:

Frédéric Chopin, Variations on a Theme by Rossini (Any edition)

Contrasting piece of applicant's choice

not to exceed 5 minutes in length.

A committee will judge all recordings. Three finalists in each category

will be recognized at the 2025 AFC Flute Fair.
